The FDNY performs all onsite examinations at the candidate's building. Consequently, Fire Safety Tactics holds all onsite preparation sessions at the same location where the candidate will take their exam. It is crucial that every candidate receives hands-on training and comprehends the specific details and nuances of their building.
During these sessions, important elements such as the building's alarm system and plan documents can be thoroughly reviewed and discussed, equipping each candidate with the confidence and practical knowledge needed to excel during their onsite exam.

This guidance includes insights on key mandatory questions and important topics, along with recommended, acceptable, and unacceptable responses to various scenarios encountered during the exam.
