Building Evacuation Supervisor
A Building Evacuation Supervisor is a crucial role that must be filled at all times when there are occupants in the building and no Fire Safety Director is required to be duty. This ensures the safety of all individuals in the building in case of an emergency evacuation.
Building Evacuation Supervisors Duties
1-) Capable of directing the evacuation of the occupants as provided by the Fire Safety Plan.
2-) The Building Evacuation Supervisor plays a crucial role during fire emergencies. Their primary responsibility is to man the Fire Command Station and oversee the direction and execution of the evacuation as outlined in the Fire Safety Plan.
3-) The Fire Director is in charge of overseeing the training and related duties of the Building Evacuation Supervisor in accordance with the Fire Safety Plan and these regulations. The Fire Department has jurisdiction over these activities.
